1. Do you think the President's Photographer is an important job? Why or why not?
I think it is important because it shows the people evens/emotions involving the president that you would not normally see. It also can show who the president really is and may or may not change someones opinion on him.

2. What do you think would be the easiest part of the job? The hardest part?
The easiest part to me would be being able to take so many different pictures of him and the people around him. The hardest part would be working on his schedule and having to go to any place at any time of day, all the time.

3. Would you want this job? Why or Why not?
I would not want this job because I would not be able to follow one man around on his schedule all day everyday and having to check on where I would have to be at what time specifically.

1) We need to document the things that we dont normally get to see, and the things that can make history. so yes the presidents photographer is important.
2)the easiest part of the job would be the things that you do over and over again, like the plane or speech shots. where as the changing things that dont happen regularly would be much more difficult, like 9/11 or lawn events.
3)i wouldnt want this job i wouldnt be able to follow the same person around 24/7 i would feel intrusive and awkward.

1. I think the President's Photographer is an important job, because it documents the situations that happen in the President's life that most people never get to see, its like you're seeing a more sensitive side of him.

2. The easiest part of the job would have to be getting used to the schedule but, I think the hardest part would definitely trying to get that "perfect shot". Especially when the subject you are shooting is always moving around, you never know exactly where he is going to end up or where he is going.

3. I personally would not want this job, because it just seems like too much work. I would like a job like this, though. Catching someone's emotion "behind the scenes" seems like an exciting way to live your life, especially when its the subject is the President of the United States.

1) Yes, because then future generations can look back on the presidency and see important moments that the president was having.

2) I think the easiest part would be getting far away shots, and blending in, and I think the hardest would be following the president everywhere and getting every moment.

3) I think at first it would be fun, interesting and intense, but later on there would be too much pressure, and it would become too difficult.

1. Yes, because if there isnt someone to take pictures of everything that the president does, eventually America would forget what the president was like.
2. Waiting for the president to get out of meetings; being able to anticipate whats going to happen next.
3. No, because i have already done wedding photography and that was stressful enough.

1. Do you think the President's Photographer is an important job? Why or why not?
I think its a very important job to have a President's Photographer because you need someone to document moments in history like for example the pictures of President Bush during 9/11

2. What do you think would be the easiest part of the job? The hardest part?
The easiest I would say is, is that the Photographer after a bit knows what to shoot for. They hardest would probably be staying on your toes, and expecting anything.

3. Would you want this job? Why or Why not?
I probably would not want this job because if you do miss something crucial, you miss what could be a big part of history.

1. I think it is definitely an important job. The President needs to be documented. People like to see their figurehead, to see that they are just as real and emotional as they are. Without presidential photography, people wouldn't feel as much of a connection to their president.

2. The easiest part of the job would be getting the shots themselves. You have unlimited access, pretty much, especially compared to other people. The hardest part would probably be coping with the immense pressure of your position. Future history is in your hands. You don't get a second chance, really, to get the necessary photos.

3. I would not want this job. I would feel awkward in the presence of power; I'd probably feel like I'm being a bit of a nuisance. Also, I'm not confident that my style of composition really matches up with the necessary techniques for taking presidential photos.

I think the photographer for the President is a very important job, its documenting the worlds most important job. I think the hardest part would be having to get the important shots every single time, and always having the photos on the correct settings so you never loose an important time or moment. I think the easiest part would be staying in the nice hotels, and eating the finest food, which means this job wouldn't be easy by any means. I don't think I would like this job much, I think the rewards are incredibly good but for the most part it would be insanely stressful to get the shot every single time, and well its the President.

1. I think this is a important job. Because it keep the important event of the president, the pictures hold the memories of the president: the happy moment, family,...

2. The easiest of this job is capturing every moment of the president. I think the hardest is to get a good picture that enjoy the people and last for centuries

3. No, i don't want this job. Because it is hard for me to shoot one person's face every single time, i want to take picture of different thing like nature and animal, not one person over and over again.

1. I think the job is important because they are the ones who are documenting everything that the president does. They also show photos of what the president is like as a person and family member, not just as the president.
2. The easiest part of the job would be getting photos at the press conferences and meetings because he isn't the only photographer there. You can only get so many shots at events like those. The hardest part would be capturing the president in a state of emergency, because no one knows what's happening and you can't ask the president to stop for a photo. It would be hard to tune out the emergency to get the photos when its such a serious incident.
3. I would not want this job because I would have a hard time having my days planned out and based off of someone else's schedule. I also think it would be boring to go to so many meetings and speeches.

1.I think it is important because the public needs to see what the president is up to and to see more than just him doing his job business wise also as a regular person. Like doing activities with kids and stuff.

2. The easiest par would be that you have the acess to the right places but the hard part would be trying to get interesting/great photos.

3. I would and wouldn't want this job. I would want this job because it would be very astonishing to be able to take pictures of the president and fun at the same time. But then I wouldn't want this job because you are always in the presidents face but i mean it's like hard to get good shots but you can get so many, that you get a couple.

1. Yes the job of being the President's Photographer is extremely important. We are lucky enough to have a way to document important events in the history of our country, so why would we not take advantage of it? The President should be photographed so we know what his everyday life is like and so do future generations.

2. The easiest part of the job would be going to work everyday because first off, you're going to the White House. You also get to kick it with the Pres everyday. The hardest part would be photographing absolutely everything that the President does.

3. Yes. I greatly enjoy photography and this job would allow me to pursue my interests as a photographer. It would also be very interesting to be in the White House all the time and be on involved in matters important to our country.

1. I think it is interesting to be able to see and document all the important events of a presidents time in office. I don't think that its the most important thing to have a person taking thousands and thousands of pictures, obviously before cameras were so advanced we were able to document the presidency well.

2. The easiest part is that you are doing something you love to do, you get to follow the president go where he goes and take pictures. The hardest part is you really don't get to do it on your schedule, sometimes there isn't even a schedule at all. When the president is doing something you have to follow and take the pictures and sometimes it's going to be very hectic and inconvenient for you.

3. I would not want this job. The pictures you take have to be some of the best in the world because you have to keep up the standards of previous president photographers, plus the world is going to be looking at them from that point on through the future so they must be good. Also the schedule would be too packed for me.

1) I think the President's photographer is a very important job. Aside from documenting historical moments, it's a security to the people to see what the Presidents is dedicating his presidency to, you know, and seeing what he's doing on a day to day basis.
2) I think the easiest part would be actually taking the pictures. I mean, if you're a good photographer (like I assume he is, being the President's photographer) he'd be used to taking photos, and it's basically taking the same photos over and over, although I do understand it'd be a challenge to find new ways to make the same handshake an interesting photo. The hardest part, for me, would be the emotional toll I'd take from it. Always feeling in the way or obnoxious. I suppose it wouldn't be as bad if you developed a friendship with the President (that'd be pretty cool), but always feeling in his face, and feeling insignificant around all those important people. It'd feel like I was an annoying mosquito or ant or something.
3) I think it'd be fun for a few days, meeting the President, going everywhere, and being places that no one else got to go. But after a while I'd start feeling like the annoying bug and the insignificance would get overwhelming.

1. Of course! The President's photographer is documenting extremely important moments in history.

2. I think the easiest part of the job would be to find interesting scenarios to capture. I think the hardest part would be to take original, but still appealing pictures

3. Nope. I wouldn't want this job because it seems too stressful and you wouldn't be able to have a family or life for that matter. It seems like an incredible opportunity for somebody who enjoys photography 24/7. That isn't for me.

1. Do you think the President's Photographer is an important job? Why or why not?
Yes I think it is important because it shows the people what is going on and all the emotion in pictures that we cannot see. It is also to document what is going on with the president so in the future we can look back and see what happened.
2. What do you think would be the easiest part of the job? The hardest part?
Following around the President, the hardest would be getting good pictures and always having to take them 24/7.
3. Would you want this job? Why or Why not?
No! I like photography but not enough to be following someone around and feeling ignored and always taking pictures.

1.
It's an important job because it documents the presidents life and presidency. It puts people in the room with the president.

2.
Easiest part of the job would be traveling around and taking pictures of the president, the hardest part would be making sure to capture the proper lighting and composition with the pictures.

3.
I would not want this job because I would want my own life. Not to follow around someone documenting their lives.

1. Yes I think that the president's Photographer is an important job because people want to or either see what the president does, or what happens with other important meeting and such.

2. Easiest is either greetings or watching the president enjoy his life when he's not working. Hardest is the competition with other photographers, meetings, stressful moments, and others.

3. I would not like this job, yes it does pay you well and you get to meet important people and hotels, airplane rides, but it takes your life away and makes it the presidents.

Daniel Garratt said...

1. yes because while everyone knows what the results of the president's meetings, speeches, etc. are, being able to see what was actually happening really helps to tell the story and portray the emotion that was in it.

2. The easiest part would be that you dont have to decide what to take pictures of, you just photograph everything. The hardest part would be having to do everything the president does.

3. no because I would hate to have a schedule anywhere near as busy as the president's

1. The job of President's photographer seems relatively unimportant. In public situations, there are already guaranteed to be hundreds of other photographers to document the event. In private meetings, etc. a photographer seems like a distraction that might make one of the parties more self-conscious of the proceedings.
2. The easiest part of the job would be following the president around. The hardest part would be getting up the confidence to push right into the fray to get the ultimate shots.
3. I would absolutely want this job. It would be endlessly exciting, provide really interesting stories/experiences, and probably pays better than about 98 percent of American's jobs.

1. i think that taking photos of the president is very important because it explains what is happening, also it explains to everyone in the united states what i happening.

2. the easiest part of taking pictures would be to figure out what kind of setting to set the camera too because they are constantly moving around and the lighting changes where ever they go. the hardest part would be getting the angles of the shots and getting the in the moment of the shot.

3.i would want this job because i think it would be a great experience to meet new people and have a relationship with the people as well as the president. you would be getting paid well to take pictures of the president and his life as president.

1. I believe the photographer of the president is a important job. I think this because he is taking pictures of history that will be passed down from generation to the world expires. people will get to see the president because of the photographer

2. The easiest part of the job is when the president is sleeping. that means you get to sleep so your done for the day. the hardest part is actually taking pictures of everything he does and to make it professional

3. I would love to be a photographer for the president. it would be the best 4 years of my life. I will go down in history as the man that took pictures of the president, that would be rad

1) Yes, I think it is a very important job because it documents very important historical moments.

2) The easiest part of the job would be to follow around the president and snap pictures. The hardest part would be to know when, where, and what the pictures should be of. Another hard part would be staying out of the way of the president.

3) No i wouldn't want this job. The person doesn't really have a life or time for themselves. Also it would be a very stressful job.

1. I think its a very important job for somone to constantly take pictures of the president. Those moments really should be recorded for history to veiw and help them understand what happened on those days.
2. The easiest part of the job would have to be all the special treatment and the great access just given to you. But if you had this job you would have to give up the rest of your life and would have no time for yourself or for family.
3. I would not this job at all. In the future i would only really want a job if i could support and have a family, or even just have fun. With this job you have no time for family and no time for yourself. t seems like your life would be constant work and no fun.

1. YES I do think the President's Photographer is a very important job. Documenting the president's actions, greetings and meetings gives the citizens a spot in the room. It lets us know what he's doing, how he's doing it and who he has to talk to.

2. THe easiest part of this job would be . I think the hardest part of this job would be having to follow the president almost 24/7. Being wherever he is and not really having the total freedom is a steep price. But is also a pro because you get to travel constantly and become very close with the PRESIDENT!

3. NO, because The thing I like the most about photography is the freedom to document whatever you want however you want. This job is rather limited to the president but at the same time he gets special access to events.

1.) I think that the job of Presidential Photographer is an important job as far as photography goes. People want to know about the person in charge of their country and when you cannot be there to get to know him yourself, then having someone else on the inside to express who your leader is would be very important.

2.) The pressure of always being around such a tight environment security-wise and never having a life outside of being "the presidential photographer" would be too much for a person such as myself to handle. On the other hand, someone that likes to travel (very well at that), are into politics and that is very ambitious, this may be the perfect job for you.

3.) As a person that likes to stay in touch with his closest friends and family I could not take the job. Also being very opinionated myself I would find it difficult to keep my nose out of information that I was not there to hear and provide my own input on the subject.

2. I think that the easiest part of the job would be taking the pictures when you have the opportunity to. The hardest part would be keeping up with the president because he is so busy all the time and everything that him and his family do are important.

3. I wouldn't want to take this job because it would be very difficult.

1. Do you think the President's Photographer is an important job? Why or why not?
Yes I think it's a very important job. It documents the life of the most important man in the states, the one that rules the country, and of course it is important to document what he does with the power he has. People want to know what he does, and its a great way to show this through photography. I like the pictures from the movie a lot, so much better than just portraits. It gives the president personality for those who dont know him.

2. What do you think would be the easiest part of the job? The hardest part?
The easiest job would be the living, you basically live the life of the President, and that can't be bad. You would get a lot of benefits. I think it would be hard with family life, because you have to be around him all the time. It would be hard to be the one responsible to capture his life and his achievements so he'll be remembered, you better do a good job.

3. Would you want this job? Why or Why not?
I personally wouldnt want this job, just because I don't feel I would put that much effort in it. I would love to be a professional photographer, but not for the President. Its an important and stressful job. Of course it would be fun with all the benefits, but I would rather be a photographer for something I more passionate about.

1. I think pictures of the president hanging out and doing things other than speeches and work make him more human. This give a better relationship between him and america.

2. The easiest part would be taking the pictures. I think having to follow the president around and be his second shadow would be a very tiring and repetitive experience.

3. Being the photographer i am now, no. but if i was a pro, then being the president's photographer would be sick. Being friends with the president and partaking on luxurious travels all the while being paid a good amount of money would be very cool.

1. Yes, I think it is an important job to photograph the history of the presidency. Although 20,000 pictures a week may seem unnecessary, you never know when something important will happen.

2. I think the hardest part would be having to live the life of the president. It would be long and stressful. I think the easiest part would be reviewing and publishing the pictures, then getting a good reception from people and the president himself.

3. No, too mainstream and stressful.

1. yes i think it is important job because every photo is a recording of history. Almost every picture has great historical value and will definitely be remembered.

2. I dont think any of it would be easy because of the schedule the president is on. The hardest think would be time management because you have to know exactly when and where the president is going to be in order to get good photos.

3. Nopes, To crazy and time consuming.
