This fun short video has a great plot to it. It's Playful sound effects and upbeat music help get its message across while keeping the watcher interested with its unspoken comedy.

"ASDF Movie"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYnsfV5N2n8

The story line had lots of humor so it was enjoyable to watch. The animation style was nice because it was clear and well animated. It had intro music and ending music but did not have music through out the whole video. It had sound effects to replace the music for the main part of the video.

"Flash Animation"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Utl1jqGtryI

I liked the storyline because it was the mouse or the "creator" fighting his own creation. The animation style was slightly lower quality but overall it was good. This animation had no music but had sound affects for the mouse and the stickman.
"M.I.L.K song"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M3tmmP2DHc

The storyline was nice because it was a song about a milkman with lots of color. The animation style was great, they did a really good job animating the people and the landscape. This had no sound affects but had music through out the whole video.

I liked this animation because it was a tribute to Michael Jackson, and he was dancing to billy Jeans.

I liked this video, it was a little long but otherwise it was funny and entertaining. I liked how all the characters were portrayed and the sound effects.

http://vimeo.com/8076404
This one was also pretty long, but I liked the style of how it was done. I thought it was very neat. I also liked the story behind it. This one was both realistic style, and cartoony style. I liked that about it.

http://vimeo.com/49219970
I liked this one, because I liked the character of the girl. She was dorky and reminded myself of me. I also like how the girl was done, she looked a little like the girl Coraline, from that movie.

I like the song parody, it uses anime style art and the movement is pretty good looking. It features my favorite characters too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16Ss3d_SQc4
The animation is really smooth, the art style is very clear and pretty looking, and the music matches the animation.

I like this character a lot and the animation is cute and funny to me. I also like the parody of the original song and the meaning of this one.

NAME: L Raven (1st Period)

Of all the flash animations watched today, I found the following three to be the most interesting:

1. Legend of Miyamoto ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P3HLwMGw2g )
I think any Nintendo fan would be interested to see an animation which involves the creator of multiple video games touring the game world. The way in which this animation combines typical flash and GBA-style elements is quite visually appealing.

2. Animator vs Animation ( youtube.com/watch?v=cgwxXKsZhAo )
This video uses the interesting concept of an animation turning against the animator. The entire battle is very smoothly animated.

3. The Last of the Dashkin
(youtube.com/watch?v=0dCegsjzH44)
The water and wind effects used in this animation were quite realistic by flash standards, and the dialogue / original storyline gave it a fairy-tale sort of feel, which was amusing.

Abel Bantiwalu Period 1

http://vimeo.com/8523789

I liked this one, because it was funny and was during winter time. This was interesting and creative and the music went well with the story.

http://vimeo.com/6832695

I liked this one, because it was informative and related to a real life situation of preventing children's illness. It showed all the steps of what happened with the doctor. The effects and animation went by fast and was good. There was no music.

http://vimeo.com/4728159

Looked real life with the attributes even if the creatures were fake. It was a band playing and sounded like a band with the drums and guitar. This was good and I liked it. It was interesting.

Epic Wub Time (5:09)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sob1t-iUCmE

The animation was fluid instead of choppy. It contained different angles and scenes instead of just one continuous strip.

MLP: FiM Fanfic (2:59)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5x8bZJPovUQ

It showed a set of scenes on how the storyline is played out. Again, the animation is excellent in remaining fluid. The music was put in where it would make the most impact.

Picture Perfect Pony Music Video (3:04)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDdL4z5qfr4&feature=related

It's a music video that has seamless animation, looks like it was well thought-out and had a lot of time put in. A lot of detail was included, and body motions looked like they were real.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJMemIVjLa0
This animation I thought was effective in exploring concepts or very short plot lines with surreal and cartoonish style. Even though it wasn't a flowing storyline, it was more like glimpses into animated scenes which I thought was cool.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO2QMfvi8hY&feature=relmfu
I liked this video for the stylized but pretty minimalist animation. It was also funny how you don't know it's an ad for Doritos until the end of the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py-fPQk6obE&feature=relmfu
This video was cool because the animation was really morphed and wacky. Everything is kind of off kilter and the sound effects are obviously made by a human voice, which is funny.

Desktop Fight 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U8afmJpBgU

This was similar to animation vs. animator. I liked it because it was a creative take on a security program fighting a virus. There was not much of a story line and no music, but there were plenty of sound effects. The style was simple stick figures.

Tetris Trouble
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwPHSRNU2OE

I really like this story line because it personified the tetris blocks, which is very creative and something I wouldn't have thought of. I like the ending a lot too. The style seemed to be pretty simple figures but it looked well done. There was music during parts that went well with the scenes, and the sound effects were also appropriate.

Jaws 60 Seconds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQIqfWoaz2k&feature=related

I liked this video because it was a really cool idea of summarizing a movie so quickly and humorously. The animation itself was simple and not that well polished. The music and sound effects were both perfect, however. I thought it might be a good idea for doing animations in the future.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHgIQYvv9kk&feature=relmfu

Though completely inappropriate, Leo and Satan provides great voice acting as well as animation. The storyline, though short, is also well scripted and designed. It is also part of a series, something that I feel adds to the overall feeling of the animation.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCtr04cnx5A

The third in the Animator vs. Animation series still manages to keep it interesting. What makes this series so good ins't the fact that it's particularly good animation, or has particularly good sound effects, but the originality of the piece makes it very fun to watch, even multiple times.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj4RBmU-PIo

Though not flash animation, this hand drawn animation is some of the best around, done by a very famous animator. The plot takes place in a city where cats are the only residents, and everything is fine until one day they all go missing. The animation quality on this is just beautiful, and it leaves a lasting impression on whoever watches it.

Though it has no message or deep plot, ANimator vs Animation III (and probably the others in this series) are just fun to watch. Flash Animation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Utl1jqGtryI

The storyline of this video was pretty amazing and interesting. Though there weren't many colors in this video, the action within the video made up for it. I enjoyed the sound effects that went along with each action as well. As a whole, I think this animation was very creative and bit funny to watch. You can tell that the creator must have had lots of fun making the video.

Legend of Miyamoto: Awesome Nintendo Flash Animation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P3HLwMGw2g

I definitely enjoyed this video a lot. The storyline was quite adventurous, and I really liked how there were familiar characters within the video. I liked that this video had color opposed to the previous one. The sound effects and music that played in the background were perfect as well. I think changing up the music that played in the background of each scene would have made the video even better. Overall, I think this video was put together really well.

Flash Animation Reel 2011:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leiUISB_D_s

This video was essentially a compilation of animations that the author had done in the past. What I really enjoyed was how the author blended each piece of work that they did together very well. The music in the background was alright, and as for sound effects,, There were no sound effects, but the video played along just fine without them because the music matched up with actions of characters for the most part. Overall, this video was great, and I really liked the precision they had for each of their animations.

"Gulp"

http://vimeo.com/26877221

I like this video because of the creativity of using a real beach as a back drop. Artists make a picture in the sand, then take a bird's eye view picture to create stop motion animation. Very neat to see play out, as well as the storyline which is silly and entertaining because that fisherman gets eaten.

"Proteigon"

http://vimeo.com/33480080

I like this animation because the man starts with a piece of paper then creates other objects by waving his hand by it. The animation is so cool because you never know how the object is going to transform into the next object. The music also complements the video and mood. For example, angry sounding music comes on and the man smashes the cube, which transforms it into a different object.

A cute story plot about a couple and the girl in the relationship is forced to go study abroad. The animations style is anime, and it uses voice acting. The faint music in the background, accompanied the voice acting very nicely setting
the mood.

"Marriage Proposal"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIjgfObg2Lc&feature=channel&list=UL

Tarboy
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACHVwA1D8fE)

I really liked this one because of all the different animation styles. The grandpa/grandson robots had a lot of detail while the other characters (from the flashbacks) were very simple animations. I also really enjoyed the music. It all fit the themes of the video very well with some parts directly synchronized (footsteps on each beat/dubstep sounds for the robot monster). Very epic/dramatic for a 5-6 minute video, with a good amount of humor mixed in.

In The Fall
(http://vimeo.com/27582815)
This one was great. Really different from Tarboy in animation style, but I really liked it. I liked the simplicity in the moving backgrounds and basic sketched drawings. Good sound effects and storyline. Kind of sad, but humorous as well.

Coyote vs. Sheep
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYN67cmko7w)

It was hard to find another one that I really enjoyed. I chose this one because I thought the animation style was really cool in this one, mainly because it was so simple. The music was okay, but it didn't really fit the video. It also didn't have any sound effects, which I think would have been nice. That being said, I don't know if this is one of my favorites overall, but I really liked the style of animation.

"French Roast"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsQlK7D0VdU

Two things stick out, for me, in this oscar nominated short film. The quality of animation graphics and extremely detailed sound. For example, the story takes place in a french cafe and I can hear voices in the background and the clattering of dishes. The animations are Pixar-esque in the way they look and move, which adds to realism. I also liked the creativity of telling the story by the reflection of the mirror, you see the different people come and go to the cafe by reflection. This makes the film more interesting to watch and steps up the complexity of animation even more.

I found this one of my favorites because the graphics and attention to detail were amazing for example when the bunny would walk the fat on its stomach would jiggle also the moral of the story (don't bully) was very effectively put into the video the other animals pick on the bunny and in the end the animals get what they deserved. The sound was also fantastic the ruffling of leaves when the bunny would walk.

This was also one of my favorites, but it was a little bit creepy the affects like the other one were great my favorite part was when the girl gets put in the dolls point of view the sound was great but it was kind of creepy.

I watched the video "24 Animations in 24 hours" I was not so sure how I felt about the story line because they didn't all make sense but the music fit each animation right on and the animations were very random but very hilarious

I'm sure you've seen this but it's funny and the concept is simple so I like it.

Derpcraft - www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwUC53VvY-M
Not only was the storyline hilarious but the art was sheer stunning. The attention to detail that the maker of the flash was stupendous. The storyline was amusing and also interesting. You could tell that the creator of the flash put a lot of effort into making the flash.
Nugget in a biscuit - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmdc9RIhmOI
This is my favorite flash animation of all time. It is made by a guy named Gonzo. He makes many flashes but this one is the best in my opinion. Nugget in a biscuit is music video that basically just repeats nugget in a biscuit a lot. The art is good but the tune of the music is what puts the cherry on top.
Safety torch - www.youtube.com/watch?v=upxzaVMhw8k
I love this flash. Like nugget in a biscuit this flash is made by a guy named Gonzo. Also like nugget in the art is exceptional. It's about a little boy named Timmy who is afraid of the dark and need safety torches to keep the monsters away. It's a music video so it's also just like nugget in a biscuit very catchy.

I watched the "Legend of Miyamoto: Awesome Nintendo Flash Animation" it was pretty cool because i liked how they incorporated multiple nintendo games into one video game, and they had an interesting background song.

To be honest none of these really made much sense but that was the thing I ended up enjoying the most with its fitting music and great humor.

I liked this one because it gave a message but at the same time it was entertaining. The message is the energy efficient light bulbs are better. I also liked how the characters looked.

This video was an ad. I could tell it was very well edited and smooth.

This was a retake on the Three little pigs. I really like the humor they included. Also the pictures were not to complicated to I feel i could make something like this.

The humorous plot can connect with the viewer sharing the view on the difficulty of waking up in the morning and the simple tasks in the morning that are found difficult in the early morning.

ASDF Movie 2 is a compilation of very short films. Almost all of these are funny and use apropriate sound effects that add to the video overall

Baman and Piderman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyvZ04KKhFY

Baman and Piderman is aseries of random, non sensical inanities that later on become slightly more understandable. Though at first the animation may seem simplistic, it is very well animated. Though it may not be very mature, it is hard to stop watching

Elisa Adams, Period 5

"The N00B Adventures"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On-KKibDoD4
The storyline was fun to follow, since the video is about Minecraft. The animation is simple but well done. There wasn't any music, mostly sound effects and dialogue, but they were well timed and matched up with the animation.

"How Twilight Should Have Ended"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nqvg0C90FhM
This was a parody of Twilight with an alternate ending, and was hilarious to watch. The animation is very well done and professional looking. There were some sound effects, but it was mostly funny dialogue.

"Animator vs. Animation"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgwxXKsZhAo
The storyline was a creative take on animating, portraying the creation fighting the creator. The animation itself was a stick figure fighting with whatever it could draw or grab from the edges of the program. There was no music, but there were good sound effects.

ASDF Movie

ASDF is full of funny short animations that were well done and flowed together nicely. It has well timed sound effects adding to the overall video. The characters were not terribly detailed but they were clear and moved fluently. Overall it was very well done and I liked the many short animations style.

http://vimeo.com/22894261
Little Boat

The style of drawing and coloring in "Little Boat" is very cool. It adds to the mood of the short film. There were not very many sound effects but lack of them was proper for the film.

http://vimeo.com/32619522
Be a Vegetarian

This very short clip has the perfect music and sound effects for it. The clip was funny and not to long that it got boring. The style of the drawings were good looking but not perfect in comparison to the real animal making them unique and adding to the clip.

"flash animation"
http://vimeo.com/8523789

I picked this video because the storyline was a very interesting and funny. It was like a invisible fight between the creator and the animations. The music was very good and the sounds were perfectly timed to fit the actions.

"Be a vegetarian"
http://vimeo.com/32619522

This video was very simple and didn't look to difficult. The characters were drawn ok and the storyline was a little odd but the music was good and the sound effects were timed to the actions.

"In the Fall"
http://vimeo.com/27582815

This video was funny and kind of sad in a weird way. The sad part is the character dies but the video was very clever because people usually say their life flashed before their eyes and in the video that was exactly what happened.
